Aktuell forskning
Bedriver forskning som rör hur äldre personer som bor hemma i ordinärt boende med hjälp av hemtjänst kan stärkas i sitt självbestämmande; äldre personer med psykiatrisk ohälsa, prevalens, deras upplevelser av vård och omsorg samt hur vårdbiträden som vårdar dessa äldre upplever sitt arbete med dem. Ett annat projekt rör sjuksköterskor i kommunal äldreomsorg och deras upplevelser och skattning av sin kunskap, kompetens samt sin arbetsmiljö.
Ytterligare projekt som bedrivs berör faktorer som påverkar den professionella känslan hos vårdpersonal som arbetar med äldre personer i kommunal äldreomsorg och studenter som i sin yrkesutbildning möter äldre personer.
Vidare så bedrivs ett projekt om vårdhund i vården av personer med demenssjukdom samt ett projekt om den vårdande relationen i en akut sviktande livssituation.
