Ersta Sköndal University College (ESUC)
ESUC is situated in Stockholm, the capital of Sweden. At ESUC you can study to become a nurse, social worker, deacon, theologian, church musician or psychotherapist. The education offered by ESUC is carried out in four departments located on two campuses. Nursing education is located at Ersta Campus, situated in the south city centre – “Södermalm”. ESUC has c.1000 full-time students in 5 different programmes, including 2 nursing programmes (3 or 4 years).
EUSC's Department of Health Care Science
Dating from 1851, the Ersta Sköndal University College Department of Health Care Science has one of the longest and richest histories in nursing education in Sweden. The department of Health Care Science has highly committed staff and students. International co-operation is based on mutual exchange of knowledge and resources within the nursing programme and the profile areas of health-care ethics and Philosophical issues and views of life in a care context, palliative care and psychiatric care.
